Value for money

For £50 it does all you would expect for a sat nav + it has nice 'extras'
3 of 3 found this helpful Ok this item cost only £50! Even though, I still expect it to do as it says. This item pretty much does that and but for a few minor refinements it would be a perfect piece of kit.
Pros:- Large Readable screen, Great 3d Graphics, accurate, Great sound, and FM transmitter is superb and easy to operate. All the maps you'd ever need. Being a UK seller was good too with no customs/lost in transit issues and they responded to my questions very quickly
Cons:- Short battery life (1hr) Music and Video interface very basic. No facility to install additional software despite appearing to have Windows CE installed. Not too difficult to navigate but instruction booklet could be clearer and in better english. You have to exit each app before accessing another. Even cheap mobile phones allow you to have several apps open and toggle between them so it would have been nice to have music play in the background while using navigation but maybe I'm expecting too much.
All in all I am happy with my purchase and hopefully it will give a good lifespan.

It really annoys me when consumers are taken for fools by companies who rather than use generic accessories use their own design
This memory card is a good example. It costs about 3 times as much as a standard nano memory card. Infuriating.
