Coogan at his best!!!
1 of 1 found this helpful Tommy Saxondale is irritating enough to despise, but endearing enough to pity and actually empathise with at times. Stave Coogan and co have managed to make a character with enough Partridge'isms to appease the die hard fans whilst adding other layers to create a whole new character.
Tommy is brilliant, the secondary characters are great and the dynamics between Tommy and his partners at work and at home along with the office tease keep the laughs coming pretty constantly. I am disappointed the series didnt continue. I would highly recommend both series one and two to all Coogan fans, as if I need to. Even if your not a big fan, the comedy is priceless with some of those moments that remain with you forever. Also the kind of thing you would watch and watch again.......much like Partridge!!!

Awesome memories and great songs
Well im a fan of pretty much every kind of music you can get. But funnily enough i grabbed this after watching Alan partridge do a meddly at the end of Steve Coogan Live & Lewd........Just for reminiscant reasons. Pretty chuffed i bothered as its a reminder of how many great songs where around when i was growing up. Great album with all the ones I rememeber.....cheers Partridge.......Back of the net!!!!

RENEGADE SOUNDWAVE "IN DUB"
ONE OF THE GREATS,RSW`S FIRST REAL DUB ALBUM WHICH FOLLOWED "SOUNDCLASH" GOOD OLD BASS ENFORCEMENT FROM A GROUP THAT WERE PIONEERS OF THE TIME. ID BEEN HUNTING THIS ALBUM ON CD FOR A LONG TIME AND WAS THRILLED TO FIND IT NICE & CHEAP ON EBAY. BASICALLY THE ALBUM IS REHASHED DUB MIXES OF "SOUNDCLASH" PLUS SOME WICKED NEW TRACKS SUCH AS "THUNDER" WHICH WAS RELEASED AS A SINGLE. RSW CAME FROM THE SAME STABLE AS DEPECHE MODE SO YOU CAN CATCH SOME RE-MIXES THEY DID FOR THEM AND THEY CAN ALSO BE FOUND AMIDST THE MORE OBSCURE MUSIC SECTIONS OF SPECIALSED STORES. THE BEST OF THE BUNCH IS "SW 87-95 HTS ALBUM" & "HOWYA DOIN" ALSO LOOK OUT FOR THE FOLLOW UP DUB ALBUM "THE NEXT CHAPTER OF DUB". THIS ONES A GOOD TASTER THOUGH AND WILL HOLD ITSELF WELL FOR THE FUTURE, MANY MIMIC THE RSW STYLE BUT THEY WERE THE DADDIES AND THIS ALBUM PROVES IT.......
