Soft and warm
I bought this as a christmas present for my brother in law so cant comment on it in use but on examination it feels lovely and soft and substantial. Seems like great value for the price

Great read
As always a Val McDermid novel that grips to the last. Easy to read style whilst sacrificing non of her craft.

Compelling reading brilliant writing
I borrowed the first in this series from my daughter in desperation as I had no new book to read never thinking that I would be so easily drawn into the series. As this was the only one she had by the time I was a quarter of the way through i was searching for the others. I found these at such a good price I ordered right away. Really low price with no loss of quality and I am already through the second of the five. This is a compelling series really well written and I find I have to make myself put the current book down or nothing else would get done. Once I have finished my daughter is first in line for them and I will certainly get his other books. These are a great read whilst casting light on a period and place I had previously only scant knowledge about. I am an avid reader and finding a new author is a bit like the best Christmas present ever!!!
