Very loud and impressive with vintage speakers.
Depends on the restorer, deep note hum in lacking a power supply choke of the QUAD II but professionally tricked out, is one of the best.

Excellent upgrade on the SU-V3 but elderly computer drive and twist grip speaker outputs discourage buyers. Very good sound with short thin speaker wires joined onto thicker runs. Recommended, super musical quality and solid stereo images. Very competitive product.

Truly awesome 3D surround, alnico magnet, professional single drivers.
For: 'By appointment to the H.M. the Queen', three dimensional images appear far from the speaker location. Brochure recommends wall or shelf - super on the floor when the voices appear from 4ft up! 60-18 in the Dynatron box, 15 watts power, 4 ohms, 6 x 4 inch used in the Hacker Sovereign table radios. Speakers 3ft apart beat Sanyo M9998 ghetto blaster on stereo effects and sound stage. Against: 6x4 inch speaker gives a boombox style sound - although far better than the Sanyo M9998, needs sympathetic input tones from a quality 1970s receiver - that may well warrant use of bigger speakers. Will probably better suit larger rooms.
