3 of 3 found this helpful Ok this is not the VR lens, it's a lot cheaper. But I'm no expert, and having taken about 250 shots with this lens I would have to say that for me (an amateur) it's more than adequate. The quality of the shots at all focal lengths is quite good, and the lens itself is very light. I'm happy with this lens, maybe if I was a pro I would want something more expensive, but for what I shoot this lens is good enough for me.
