Porter Cable & Warped Parts?
3 of 3 found this helpful I bought this because of the brand name. When I received this brand new 8x4 sander I assembled it only to discover the circle sander wheel/plate was warped. Its pretty bad. Its about a 1/4" higher on one side so the sanding surface warbles as it spins.
Not a biggy, that the two table tops were pitted, and scratched up pretty good but it is a problem when the table tops themselves do not align properly with the sander surfaces.
I'm pretty bummed about this purchase and am sending it back.

1 of 1 found this helpful Great pre, from clean to aggressive the GED will do it. For ultimate flexibility buy a Tech 21 Q-Strip and a Keely compressor pro to the signal chain. The skies the limit!
