JJC LH-J40 Lens Hood for Olympus M.Zuiko 14-42mm 1:3.5-5.6 II R replaces LH-40

outstanding ...

This lens hood is well constructed and fits perfectly for a fraction of the cost of the Olympus hood for the 14-42mm II R lens. I no longer have to keep taking off the lens cap in between shots. The JJC hood give me enough protection while walking around with my E-M10. Does everything a lens hood should for minimal cost.

not much larger than a lens cap ...

I couldn't pass up the nice deal on this lens. It is extremely small and thin, and the autofocus is quite responsive. The image quality is good but not as good as a Pentax DA 40mm LTD, which I would recommend first. It's so small, care is needed unmounting it from the camera. I find it's safer if my DSLR is set to manual focus when removing. The lens cap is not very good - made of rubber and just snaps into place - easy to get lost. If you can find one cheap, go for it. Otherwise spend a little more for the DA 40LTD which is a better lens in my opinion.

great to keep using legacy glass

Well built and attractive adapter. Allows me to still use my old Pentax lenses on my Olympus E-M10 m4/3 camera. No electronic contacts for autofocus, but that doesn't bother me. Excellent product for a terrific price.
