    Citroen C3 Picasso 2008-onwards DETACHABLE towbar P32A
    14 Jun, 2017
    A quality tow bar
This is my second towbar from this company and the 10th I have fitted over the years. It arrived from Poland in just 3 days form the order. It was packed in a strong cardboard box with 3 packaging "pillows" keeping everything tight. These were strong plastic bags filled with shredded cardboard so not messy and easy to dispose of. The bar is well finished in black paint which looks to be high quality with no bubbles or runs. Fitting was straightforward everthing lined up with the pre-punched holes in the car's chassis. The detachable tow ball works well with a simple cam mechanism to secure it -it is the same as the one on our other car (a Fiat Panda) which has given us no problems in the 2 years since I fitted it) . A nice cap is supplied to keep the muck out of the carrier when the towball is off. The tow ball comes with a nice bag to keep it in, and in the bag it fits nicely with the spare tyre in the well under the lower boot floor My experience fitting to a 2014 C3 Picasso: The hardest part of the job is the bumber removal, here is how I did it. First remove the mud flaps. Then finding and undoiong most of the clips and screws is easy enough but where the bumper meets the rear quarters there is a tight seam and it is not clear how to separate the bumber for the car. To separate the bumper undo the clips from the rear part of the flexible plastic wheel arch sheilds. This will allow them to be flexed enough to get your hands in. If you feel behind the rear quarter about 3cm up from the bottom of the seam you will find a 10mm bolt head you need to undo this, I found a small 10mm ratchet spanner did the trick. Once those are undone, if you pull the bumper upwards along the seam, rather than outwards, the plastic clips that hold the rest of the seam in place release and it comes away easily. Another thing I did which helped was once the captive nuts were in place & before fitting the bar I put the bolts in place and put some Duck tape over the little lugs that stop the nuts disappearing into the chassis, this stopped the nuts dropping a bit and made fitting the bar easier.
