A lot of camera for the money.. £ 159 plus 4Gb card
1 of 1 found this helpful Looked at all the recent Fuji bridge cameras and opted for the most recent one, the S4000. Nice piece of kit, rather bulky, but amazing optical zoom... 30X. A nice feature is the Panoramic, only need to press the shutter once and it does the rest once you match up the 2 crosses, gives a good perfectly joined up photo. Suggest using some good rechargable batteries, i got the Uniross 2700Mah with fast charger, they last forever compared to the standard alkaline ones which just get eaten up with the zoom etc.Not too sure about the 14m pixels, can`t say i`ve noticed any improved quality, but then i haven`t blown any of the images up to A4 or above. A few of my friends were really impressd at the price for such a camera.
So yes, in general i`m very pleased with it so far. I`m not yet into all the manual settings that are available on this camera, but i`m sure they will deliver what`s needed to someone in the know.
