Not good for long casting
It definitely puts the phone in an easier to view location, and makes moving about easy. However, it's not secure enough to the rod to keep it from spinning around and catching your line as it goes out on moderate to long casts.

Good deal, does the job, and easy to carry
This used to go for over £100 so it's a really good deal. I'm 14.5 stone and it doesn't bottom out, but it is very close. People complain that it colapses, and it will if you move around too much. It has not done so when sleeping, just when I'm awake or sitting on it and shift too much.

Almost perfect
Good quality and almost good design. The poles are not attached to the sling and slide out easily when folded. This is a problem because the carry straps are separate from the sling, so you have to thread them back through carefully when this happens. If the ends were riveted in to the sleeve of the sling this would be an excellent product for the price.
