Better than expected but far from perfect.
I bought this stand for very occasionally kids use in the play room. Once it's up, it stays up. The stand is sturdy, reassuringly heavy with a good feel to it. The two adjustable plastic collars on the telescopic arm were both broken or arrival. That doesn't make the product unusable as there are metal pins that can go through the arm allowing you to extend it anyway. It only means that the arm height can only go to one of two preset heights not an infinite height. Not a problem for me so I didn't seek a refund or exchange but for some that will be an issue.
