They don't make 'em like they used to!
4 of 4 found this helpful After reading less-than raving reviews about new KitchenAid mixers, I decided to go old school and buy this classic for my daughter's Christmas present. We then had the opportunity to use it for Christmas dinner and whipped up some awesome mashed potatoes. It is very powerful, and did the job in minutes. My daughter is thrilled. I totally recommend getting older models of these workhorses, which not only cost half of what they do new, but are made of heavy-duty parts that just aren't available any more.

Replacement glow-up!
These beautiful jewel-toned tea glasses were the perfect size to replace some broken clear ones that came with a tea set I bought in Morocco. They were delivered promptly and were well-packed to prevent breakage.
