Decent protection for cheap
Does the job of protecting cards well enough, but I find they tend to stick together easily, which makes things like shuffling difficult.

A premium upgrade for an already fine console
The magnetic joycons make the system feel much more sturdy undocked. It certainly does feel heavier and less like a toy. The mouse mode is actually more useful than I expected outside of games, and works well with the new and faster EShop.
Ultimately though it really is just a more premium Switch 1. Its worth to you depends entirely on whether you already have a Switch that works fine or not. If not, then it's a perfectly fine way to begin working through the massive Switch 1 library.
