Reliable replacement
Excellent quality. Reliable replacement part, Great value. Trick to long life is ensuring the unit is installed with both the wires wound on the drive pulley without any slack (slack allows the wires to jump out of pulley grooves and get mangled by the motor). Recommend dismounting motor and making up unit outside the door (also easier to see which bit goes where), and when tight initially, then connect power and run full distance in both directions a couple of times to get slack out of pulley windings, then readjust the position of the slotted white plastic connectors realative to drive casing to increase tension on the wires. Final position with one connector fastened on centre slot, and one on the slot closest to the drive casing, gave me good results and smooth, clean sound all way on opening and closing (if wires are loose it sounds as if there is a bit of grit on the cable, as it rides in and out of the pulley groove).
