So grateful for this book! Freeing me up!
About half way they but I love this book! My friend recommended m, said it was rocking her world. My husband & I ate both reading it. It makes perfect sense that there are different parts of us trying to help us but that can also create blocks, binds or viscous cycles. It is like having very cheap therapy! Sure beats $120 an hour! Love the boundaries books, love this book.

This is a must read for parents
My whole adult life I feel like I have had a hard time understanding how I am smart. I think a lot of it was going out and being told all the ways that I was not measuring up or what wouldn’t work. Basically, a negative focus versus a positive one. I’m excited to read this not just for myself but also for my kids because I don’t want them growing up feeling that way. I am a little bit into the book but I have already gotten quite a bit out of it. I like how you can see the plus and minus of each particular smarts. Of course every gift is a double edged sword so it is super practical and encouraging!

This book is brilliant. So needed as I don’t think parenting is always intuitive. I always need reminders and constant course correction
