Dinky Toys by Edward Force
I purchased this book around the same time I managed to get a copy of the Great Book of Dinky Toys by Mike and Sue Richards. The Force book is good but a little frustrating in its organization. The descriptions are remote from the model pictures. In additions the models are largely only shown in profile and so the 3d character is absent. However what is great is that many of the variations of individual models are shown together. The two books actually complement each other. I recommend both.
