trust me--IF YOUR HEARTBROKEN AND DEVOSTASTED THIS BOOK IS FOR YOU
I bought this book because I am going through a horrible 1st divorce at 44 years old. my divorce with overall life changes of moving and getting my own health insurance, and loss of mutual friends, and just overall loss of my own identity caused me to literally have a nervous breakdown and end up in a mental health facility for 6 days. I was diagnosed with clinical depression. I was actually suicidal. my husband has been a horrible tool thru the entire 6 months of just getting divorced. and I wondered while in the mental health hospital how besides general psychiatric aftercare that I could find a way to boost my spirits day to day. low and behold, they make this book :) I have only been doing it a week. but 6 days in, and I am on this 6th day able to get a little bit better now out of my disastrous horrible downward spiral and write this review. and p.s...I am not on any psychiatric medications for my depression. I am totally against them for my body does not do well with the side effects from having used them years previously. so I am doing this whole depression thing without any help of ant kind of pill aid. I wish I could. it sure would go faster. so I will take 6 days of a tiny burst of "hope" just from 1 paragraph each day in this book. and this has been ALL I have been doing. today basically was also the first day in 6 days since I have been home from the hospital since I showered, or barely ate. have not taken out the garbage or opened my curtains. have not returned to work yet. have not picked up my mail. have not replaced the toilet paper on the roller even, I just put the roll on the floor. yes, it is that bad. so this book has been my simple thing to do each day. it has given me something to look forward to. and I guess it is starting to make me feel better about the future, because like I said earlier, I showered today, and am at my computer since last about 3 weeks.
I am excited for the year of daily healing

i bought these instead of the my pillow and i love them!
3 of 3 found this helpful I did a lot of research on these memory foam pillows starting with the hype on the "my pillow." after looking at reviews and narrowing it down, they seem to be made the same except cost a lot different. well, I decided to try these for $29.33 for 2 pillows versus $50.00 for one my pillow, that way if I did not like the idea of the memory foam pillow I felt I was not out but basically $15 a pillow. I generally am a firm pillow type. I like my 2" gusseted core big fluffy when they are new feeling pillow. I like the feeling of having my head supported. these pillows are deceiving. they have the softness and pliability of a feather pillow, but the just right soft firmness of the memory foam that supports your head in the correct position of your body when you lay down. it is weird but in a wonderful way. the pillow is flatter than my 2" gusseted core pillow, and the bamboo pillow can be scrunched around to mold it to make it more comfy or fuller where you want more support. all I can say is I have slept on this for 3 nights and I have fallen asleep faster like I had taken a sleeping pill. and I have a hard time getting to sleep and staying a sleep. and I have slept the whole night through. I must not be snoring because my throat has not been sore the past 3 mornings as it usually is every day. I have a bad neck that is achy and my shoulders as well that hurts with my core pillow. with this bamboo pillow, that pain has decreased about 50%. probably because I am sleeping better. I have noticed I must not be tossing and turning hardly either since with the bamboo pillow because my covers are still in the same place over me when I woke up. normally I am all over the bed all night and get tangled in my bedding from tossing and turning. so it is amazing what a pillow can do to improve your rest, and for basically $15 a piece. these did not smell when I got them. they do not feel like sleeping on packing peanuts like some people say. it is just like the memory foam mattress overlay you would put on your bed, but it is in you pillow. and it is cut up into big pieces so you can manipulate the pillow. and that is also what gives you the soft firmness, like the memory foam inside your shoe. but you do not feel the pieces chunked in the pillow. it is the entire softness and comfort of the pillow with the results I got that made me want to write this review to share for anyone else who ever wondered about these "my pillow" types. when you first get them they are rolled up tight. take them out and let them air up for about 3 hours. yes they will turn into a normal looking pillow trust me:) then put each one separately in the dryer to fluff up on low heat for about 5 minutes. and out comes a lovely queen size pillow. and they got some heft to them. then I am figuring when I feel my pillow needs a fluff boost I will just toss it back in the dryer every now and then. I am not sure about machine washing these. these come with a removable cover over the pillow that can be washed. again, I figured for $15 a pillow if it lasts me 2 years I will buy new ones rather than bother washing them. hope this helped. thanks!

rhinitis to the rescue
2 of 2 found this helpful I suffer from chronic dry nose, which will cause my sinuses to over produce..called post nasal drip. this is causing my nasal passages which are blocked in my nose because they are swollen and dry to then run down the back of my throat, causing that to had become a chronic sore throat. it actually has done nerve damage to my mucosal membranes. my ENT doctor recommended doing the sinus flushes then prescribed me Flonase. I have been doing this neilmed sinus flush daily for 3 days now, and wow! each day I am breathing better through my nose, it is not as dry feeling, and my nose is not running as horrible as much down the back of my throat as it was. I was not sure as bad as my nose is if this would help. seems so easy and simple to work. but it does. I definitely plan to continue to make this part of my daily routine. I like the pre-mix packets. they absolutely do not burn. I use warm tap water with a packet in the bottle to flush. I have read of people mixing-making their own solutions, but, the packets are sealed and ready to go, no mess, and like I said no burning or stinging. a lot cheaper remedy than other medications with side effects I have tried, and other numerous doctor visits and bills I have paid looking for this type of healing effect it has had on my nose and throat, and quickly.
