Replace dual core with quad core processor
Works just fine

High hopes dashed
1 of 1 found this helpful Card comes with one page of instruction, a mini-disk of several different drivers, both 32-bit and 64-bit for win-xp, 7, 8, 10. A software application to stream and capture video. A great value if it only worked?
This device is not plug and play on Win-10 or Win-7 as indicated. Listed as working on 32-bit tops, but did actually work on a 64-bit machine for one afternoon?. The card does work on a vintage single core machine win-10, 32-bit that I tested (HP/Compaq), circa 2006. On this machine the play was slow, with at least half of the frames skipped.
When I tried a faster "recommended" multi-core (quad core) machine, running 32-bit Win-7 nothing! The Honetech software supplied with the card opened to a black screen and that was that. Tried several other video streaming soft wares, but none would capture anything. Tried each of the multiple drivers supplied with the card and nothing changed. Next, moved on to a dual core machine and the machine would not boot (froze solid) with the card in any of the PCIe slots. Tried bios changes, but no luck, yet my PCIe usb 3 adapter card works just fine in any of the slots tested.
As stated, one afternoon the card did work on 64 bit win-10 machine, it recorded excellent video, but that was it. Next day tried to use and black screen, no audio. After three wasted days and three different machines, I give up! One sheet instructions, not helpful at all, it deals with greater performance issues, but nothing else of any use. No online help available. A google search will find little, except that the card is sold under many names, all seem to be from timeleak mfg, who provides the drivers. YouTube Videos about this device abound and wish I had read the reviews and viewed these videos before throwing away my funds and several days of more-valuable time. No idea what the basis of the problem is, but incompatible with my machines for sure and not cost effective to return to China!
Would not recommend this device! Spend the $100 plus for a card that really works from a US source that will provide assistance if the card has any issues. I am Done with cheep ebay-listed electronics from China. Never again.
