Lakota Leathers straps are the best.
Lakota Leathers makes straps for guitar, banjo, Dobro and mandolin. These straps are handmade in the USA by Native Americans. These straps are the most comfortable straps you will ever put on your instrument. I chose the 3 inch wide for my acoustic guitar and I love it. I also have a Lakota Leathers strap on my 5 string banjo (the heavy kind used in Bluegrass music) and my mandolin ( round braided version) and I will have one on my Dobro. WHY? Because they are comfortable, strong, long lasting, of a simple all business design and they are just a great strap. There are some custom beaded versions I have seen on the company web site and they are beautiful works of art. You can't go wrong with a Lakota Leathers strap for your instrument, This one is not my first Lakota Leathers strap and it will not be my last. I will eventually have a Lakota Leathers strap on all my instruments because I love these straps so much. Once you try one, you will love it and keep it and really enjoy playing you instrument with a Lakota Leathers strap. You will soon find out why I have them on my instruments. They are the best ever made.

Zero Glide nut is what you need
I install a Zero Glide nut on my fretted instruments. This is a game changer.

Tusq for my acoustic instead of bone.
Use a Tusq for your tone instead of a bone. I installed a Tusq saddle in one of my guitars. This will improve your tone a lot and may also add some volume. A very noticeable difference with my guitar. All my acoustic guitars will get a Tusq saddle.
