to begin with GREAT FOOD and then!! - The smell of burning plastic from the handle!!

1st two weeks went well with all the family saying how good the food was , and how convenient it was to use. Then the other night after 8 minutes in came the smell of burning plastic from the microwave. It appears to be coming from the handle not the unit itself but the handle. This is totally off putting and made us wary of continuing to use the item again. We have followed the manufacturers instructions to the letter and believe this to be a fault with the item or design. Our microwave is 1000 watt so less than the power of the one used in the recipes. So in summary for two weeks was great and then it all went t**s up!!
