Bose QC3's A Perfect Travelling Companion
I know that these particular QC3's might be older and out of date however that did not bother me when ordering them up. I have owned a set for many years and as my wife and I were in for very long flights recently I wanted to source a set for her. So in a sense I was buying a known product and whilst these were 2nd hand in no way was I disappointed with them. They were in very fine condition so thank you for supplying exactly what I was looking for. The sound quality is superb and most comfortable to wear for extended periods. Battery life was certainly around fifteen hours and once connected to a power source quickly regained full charge for our next leg of flight.

A Fine Piece Of Kit
Having had, and have still got in use two other Zen Creative players, I wanted to get one that had a larger capacity. 8 gig has certainly given me that great option, even more if you factor in the ability of adding a SD Card as well, and I must say that this player is once again very straight forward to use. It is so easy to Drag And Drop files on to it, organise whatever into whatever order I require and easily find it again. I only use the audio side and have no interest in storing films, tv programmes, pictures etc however I'm sure those items would be just as easy to manage on this device.
As a personal choice I sought out on-line, and downloaded, a full users manual but that was more as a back-up should I need to check up on how to do something. Mostly my requirements are storage and playback. The FM radio option is ok but of course so much radio is now available from digital platforms that the choice, for some users, might be limiting in what you can actually receive.
Now we come to the perhaps most serious question, how does it sound? Well as I travel a lot I use this device in the car where it hooks up easily to the system there. When flying I always have along my Bose Noise Cancelling headphones. In all instances the quality of sound reproduction is absolutely great given that mostly I'm playing back MP3 files from all genres of music and audio books.
Am I please with this device? Hell yes! Would I recommend Creative devices to others? Again the answer is yes.
So in short it is easy to use, has a massive normal capacity and reproduces very good sound and I am very happy with it.

ZEN X-fi MP3 Player
1 of 1 found this helpful Having had, and indeed still have in constant use a Zen 4 gig earlier edition unit, I felt as I was needing a MP3 player with a bit more capacity due to now travelling more often. To while away the boring hours spent in the air I take audio books and a full range of music along with me. So my first idea was to seek out a newer version and after a bit of research opted for the Zen X-fi 16 gig unit. Does it supply my need? Hell yes and more so as you can pop in an additional card which increases the capacity even more should you need that.
As with previous Zen devices the ease of operation is just so simple. Drag & drop files from your PC and off you go. Do I use the radio, video player and other facilities? No frankly I don't but I'm sure for those that want to communicate with others via apps etc then they would be able to do so easily. Not for me I just wanted a simple reliable MP3 player.
