Thorough and relevant

Despite this edition being published in 1987 it retains full relevance to coastal navigation, clearly a definitive work - so it you cannot afford the latest edition at £150. Content is thorough and in great depth, lots of diagrams so it will be a bit off putting for the novice. Its audience is the professional navigator (Royal Navy). Worth having if you sail and can get one at a reasonable price, plenty of reading opportunity for those sandbanks on a falling tide events if you don’t read it before hand.
