barrel cleaning made easy
works simply and very well.....push solvent / paper wad through to clean out major detritus; then pull the snake through ( with some oil soaked in) just once and your left with beautiful clean bores with no scrubbing required.
Does require a good strong heave to get it through. Drop the weight through the barrel, wrap the string round your foot/shoe and pull the barrel up so the snake is pulled through the length of the barrel.
Really simple, easy, quick and does a really good job.
Only question will be if the connection between the string and the main snake can last over time as it takes quite a load when being pulled through....
But overall - great piece of kit at a really good price..
