Good fast cooling for freshly soldered parts
Good product for quick cooling down freshly soldered parts. It absorbs heat quickly. I also used it once as a permanent heat sink on an on-board video chip (desktop PC) that didn't have one by design but was overheating badly (even with an external graphics card).

Could be better, even for this price.
On two items ordered the leads are very short, which limits the manoeuvrability. Also, the leads lengths are different on each unit. While both are short, one is shorter than the other. Otherwise as good items as one could expect for a price.

Good attempt but not there yet. Not recommended.
The handles get very hot - to the point of being hard to handle. Desoldering is hit-and-miss - sometimes it melts the solder on both sides, sometimes on one only, sometimes none at all. I have many years experience and I know how to use hot tweezers. I checked it on many SMD components on several test boards and the results are the same. It seems to be a solid build but unfortunately useless. It also doesn't have any temperature control. It takes long time to get hot but after this is getting only hotter (mostly handles) and yet still works (or not) as described above.
