Great performance
Great performance- vocal performance superb and the ensemble perfect.

Monumental set
This is an awesome set, Stoltzman plays at the highest level throughout. I can't think of another clarinet player with a career close to his in accomplishment and consistently high level. You may find different recordings of these pieces, but not better. The core of classical clarinet repertoire- Mozart, Copland, Brahms, Messian, etc.- and lots of "crossover" CDs, some of which are not my normal fare, but still enjoyable and very high-level productions. The variety is astounding, orcestral concertos, chamber music, big band, smooth jazz, from edgy modern music to easy listening. I am halfway through listening to this monumental set and most of the recordings I am anxious to listen to again. Amazing bargain, even if you listen to just half the CDs.
