fantastic CD by a great artist
Operatic heavy metal along the lines of Trans Siberian Orchestra. Album has several great driving songs, particularly "Last Ride of the Day." Vocal work is stunning and top notch.

Excellent recording from a historic time in rock history
It's a great early 70s heavy metal artifact. Has some of the James Gang funk flavor to it. Definitely can hear the origins of Glenn Hughes' vocals and writing that he was to bring to Deep Purple.
