An Eye-Opener

This book is full of information to guide women through the often ignored symptoms and tests that make midlife so miserable and incomprehensible. I havent viewed MDs as gods in a very long time, and this book reinforces that --- they dont know everything, and half the time theyre stumbling around in the dark with the wrong tests. You yourself can make a difference in the way you feel, just by paying attention to your diet and your own symptoms. And without paying for unnecessary inconclusive tests

Great stories, great meals, overall immensely enjoyable!
Settling into this book was deeply satisfying. I loved every page, every anecdote, every slice of hearth bread and glass of local wine. And there were a LOT of glasses of wine. Amazing how they survived some of the dinners.
Ive added this book to my shelf of cookbooks. Loved the photos especially.
