The flash drive I've been looking for.
Does what a flash drive should do, plus it's solidly built. A welcome change from flash drives with plastic shells that split apart after a few uses.

The best version of Telstar!
This CD replaces my long-serving Rhino LP. I had given up all hope of hearing the best version of Telstar in crystal clear audio - but someone finally brought this excellent collection of 60s surf classics into the 21st century! Yay! And did I mention, it includes the best version of Telstar?

Watching Paul Giamatti play the bad guy is a treat all in itself.
Shoot 'Em Up slipped under my radar when it was originally released, and the loss is definitely mine. It's an action movie that skews a little - or a lot - from the normal course of the genre; sometimes blatantly out Bonding Bond but at times also quiet and even tender.
Clive Owen and Monica Bellucci are the movie's emotional core, but circling them like a shark with an empty belly is Paul Giamatti. Hertz, the criminal mastermind, takes every opportunity given to remind his minions that he is indeed a mastermind - and they, obviously, are just minions. If you like your gunplay and car chases seasoned with few touches of strangeness, I recommend Shoot 'Em Up.
