A good, simple GPS Receiver
Despite the 4.3" screen, this is a small device and easy to use. It is replacing a very old Navman GPS as this Curtis unit was cheaper than Navman map updates.
Technology has moved on over the last few years to touch screen, internal battery and improved simplicity. Some of the routing is a bit unusual, but that seems to be a general GPS problem, not particular to this item.
I've even played a movie on it, which was an additional feature that I had not looked for. You need a micro SD card to use this feature and, I assume, the MP3 playback feature, not tested by me.
Other reviews talk about short battery life, so expect to use this plugged in to the auto 12v socket with the supplied lead, rather than rely on the internal battery. To me, not loosing the routing each time you turn the engine on and off, as I did with the old unit, is a great bonus.
Excellent value for money at $52.99 inc.

Excellent value for money.
Does exactly as described with good connectivity and picture quality. The only shortcoming is the slightly tinny sounding speakers. I was hoping for better sound, but at this price, that is a minor criticism.
