Parrot Mini Drone Cargo Travis

App controlled drone
Easy to set up in bluetooth with the Parrot app & easy enough to fly. New additions in the app have given a trick section so you don't have to know the controls to perform the stunt. Hovers well & the throw function is brilliant as a trick in itself. Don't expect it to perform well in windy conditions as it will just blow around but for calm weather or indoor use it's pretty cool. There is no display to see where you are flying so all flight will be line of sight. Strong guards around the propellors avoid crashes when hitting walls or trees & the mini cam underneath only shoots straight down & is pretty low quality.. Don't expect major functions with theses small quads like return to home, that's not going to be available in these drones.

No wifi, dont bother...
The bottom line on buying an ipod touch, if you do not have a wifi connection you will not get the full benefit of the ipod features like email & web browsing. The navigation is simple & is all icon based. It is quite fast to respond to touch & syncs up with itunes quite well. I reccommend jailbreaking but only if you have good knowledge or are willing to research the correct way to do it. I also recomend looking around for the rubber bungs that fit in the dock & earphone ports, this will save hassle if the ipod ever gets wet. Waterdamaged ipods & iphones can be fixed but will cost you a fortune if you dont have a warranty.

Swiss army knife of the mobile phones
If you are buying from new, once it is hooked up to itunes & synced, it is relatively straightforward to download the free & paid music & apps. Apps all have descriptions & most have screenshots so you can see what you are getting. If you are buying second hand or jailbroken then you will need to do a bit of fiddling in itunes to make the iphone your own. Overall, the screen is clear & flipping between screens & apps is smooth & fast due to being the S version which is quicker than just the 3G. Setting up the email & social networking is simple, passwords & user ID then off you go. Delecting files is quick & easy, hold the icon on screen & they all wobble & have an [x] next to them so you can delete the ones you want. The camera is good even though it is only a 3mp, the added extra is that you can take video on the 3GS where you couldnt on the 3G model. WIFI is great, picked up easily, however, to fully use the iphone 3gs i suggest getting a network that gives free internet, I have giffgaff & have transfered my number from my old network, now I have internet 24/7. Get yourself a good hard case & a matt screen protector. the buttons can be delecate as can the screen. I bought a matt screen protector from ebay, this doesnt leave greasy fingerprints on screen like most do..stay away from mirror screen protectors, one outside, theres no chance you will see anything but your relfection. Battery is ok if you are willing to charge it up everyday. I bought a battery booster, once charged, it clips on to the bottom of the iphone to extend the battery life. Also think about getting a usb charger to fit ito a cigarette lighter socket or a home 3 pin plug socket to usb adapter, they charge the phone quicker & you never know when you may run out of power. There are downloads for decent sat nav apps available, if you decide to download one, go for co pilot, its small & fully feature packed. Look for a holder for the car that sticks to the window. The sat nav is very accurate, good for driving & walking, you may need to get a speaker to fit to the iphone to make it louder in the car, unless you have an in car system that takes iphone/ipod connections. Bottom line, the iphone is a lifestyle gizmo, you can do loads with it whilst you are out, at home chilling, as an entertainment center or as a social network hub. This was my first iphone & I am hooked. BEWARE, you can get too hooked.
