A fascinating book about how colours used in art were developed and how they are used
This is a beautiful book which describes how colours used in artworks are produced. It describes the origins and manufacture of each pigment. It describes how new pigments were introduced to the art world sometimes providing breathtaking innovation.
I like the book so much that when my copy was mislaid a bought a new one. A genuine must-have.
