Disappointing fit and quality
These items come in a pack of two, both were too small for my standard 23mm overflow hole and one of them broke a lug despite it being loose so good job I had two. It's not a good fit and not impressed with the quality

Okay for some situations
This item gives better support to my thumb joint than neoprene ones, but due to the lack of padding and in order to pull the velcro snug to hold the rigid part in place, it pinches my skin and I have to wear an additional support glove to stop this. Also I can't wear it when driving as it proves too bulky and it ends up making the end of my thumb go numb. In general use when doing physical things it's not comfortable and I end up with pains in other areas of my hand and wrist. I'd say the best use of it is when I go shopping and want to carry bags, or doing simple things that involve specific pressure on my thumb joint such as pulling socks up! It is an expensive item compared to other supports, and perhaps it will suit people who aren't as active as me - so for me personally it's not as effective as I anticipated, although useful in some situations.

Well made but not as comfy as I thought
The strap seems to be quite robustly made but both ends of the neoprene where it attaches to the webbing straps via hard bits of plastic, rubbed on my collar bones. This wouldn't be so much of a problem wearing winter clothing or shirts with collars but in summer when I frequently wear vests it's not something I can use comfortably.
