Quest for speed
2 of 2 found this helpful Q6600 is a well positioned processor. Scores highly as a future proof component. Might not be today's best chip, but for the money it offers so much, it just has to be the deal of the day. In the box, you get the chip and the all important fan.
For clockers, this might be a waste of dosh when compared to super cooling components: that's not what I want. I traded that for a stable product with recognized quality of function.
Must get the right motherboard, one that supports a fast memory, fast graphics etc. If working to a budget, these can be up-graded as required.
Since I started planning my new machine, I've seen the cost creep down very gradually. However, the motherboard has been a constant: so if you're pulling the bits together, start with the board, then watch for the bargains to be had.

Let down by size of infuser - too short!
Beautiful teapot. As a gift to a friend, it brought a smile that said it all.
And that was as good as it got. This is let down by the size of the loose leaf tea filter (infuser), it's too small, and worst still, it's far too short for a half fill.
It's a full teapot or nothing: so it wont be used as frequent as I had hoped. The use of Cylon Black Tea , where the leaves are very course, will need to be compacted to obtain a quantity for a good brew.
Unfortunately due to etiquette, I cant get it back to return it!
