Rangemaster cooker door bush P081192 (pack of 2)
30 Jan, 2020
Why buy a complete set of hinges?
This was the only place I could find just the plastic inserts for the cooker door. All the big boys (espares, apliancespares etc.) wanted to sell me the complete set of of hinge parts at thirty quid a throw. These door bushes were easy to fit and the door no longer sags on the hinge. Should save a few bobs worth of gas as the heat will now stay in the oven!
Brabantia Classic Black Corkscrew Bottle Opener With Integrated Foil Cutter

A cork remover that actually works.
A classic piece of design that does a simple job extremely well. First cut round the foil with the built in slicer. Then put the cork screw on the top of the bottle and just keep turning in a clockwise direction. The screw enters the cork, goes right to the bottom and then lifts it out. Turn in the opposite direction to remove the cork from the screw. Simples
8L allBIO 100% Compostable Food Waste Kitchen Caddy Liners / Bin Bags

A bag , but not for life!
What can you say about a food waste bag? You put the food in it and then give it to the dustman. No complaints from them so far! The bags fit the 6 ltr caddy with a bit of spare at the top to tie them off. One thing to keep in mind but which I didn't think about when I bought the first set of these bags - they are compostable which means that leaving them in a damp garage was a pretty poor decision! They rotted down very nicely in the damp and cold. Keep the spares indoors in a dry, dark place.
