Brute Snow Blower working great!
When I got my Brute Snow blower (13.5 HP Briggs and Stratton Snow Series) out to make sure it was ready for winter, I noticed it was surging. I looked for a carburetor rebuild kit for it but saw this offer for a new one. I decided to try it because the reviews were so good. I got the carburetor a few days after my order and everything I needed was in the box. Removed the old carburetor, and installed the new one. Note: I did not use the linkage (too much to remove to get at the linkage), I removed the small plastic bushing from my original carb. I used a heat gun to soften the bushing a little, popped it out and installed it in the new throttle lever, expanded it back out with needle nose pliers. The engine started right up and ran great! Even the engine RPM was correct. Two days later we had a snow storm and the snow blower worked perfectly, engine ran great. No surging at all. Great product!
