The Big Bot leaps into battle with a blast

Optimus Prime is release in this new set based on the current "Transformers Robots in Disguise" cartoon. It features his giant truck mode which has the ability to switch to a battle mode with a firing missile with a seat for the Kreon figure of Optimus Prime to sit in. It also includes the Decepticon Fracture and his 2 partners Divebomb and Airrazor. Also included is Fracture's hovercycle vehicle mode which he can ride. There is also a Stasis Chamber capture pod that Optimus can use to hold one of Decepticons until back up arrives. If you get this set though make sure it is a second run release as those had tighter pegs on the bricks.

Garfield eats his way into trouble

This is a great short story that place out like one of the old specials. Lorenzo Music(Garfield) and the voice actors for Jon Arbuckle and Odie reprise their roles here. Jon is planning a picnic and goes out to buy pickles, while he is gone Garfield eats the entire basket and Jon is furious when he returns. He repackes the basket but tells Garfield that he can't have any food yet until Odie and him have a chance to eat. Garfield the meets this nice little girls Jessie and plays with her in a effort to get her to give him food from her basket. Jon stops her and Garfield marches off into the woods were he gets lost. Eventually Odie finds him and the both find Jessie who was looking for her lost kite. Following the kite string Garfield and Odie save the girl getting her back to her mother and as a reward Jon let's Garfield have all the contents from their picnic basket. It is best to get the book and tape/record version of this book since the audio really adds to the story. Cast: Garfield, Odie, Jon Arbuckle, Jessie, Jessie's Mom, and The Narrator

This is issue 7 of 11 of the Disney's Gargoyles run of Marvel Comics. The Gargoyles face off against The Pack one more time who are still human. This and the other ten books from the Marvel run are set inbetween the episode of the TV series expanding the story for both Seasons 1 and 2, they are even part of the continuity of the SIG produced comics made in the late 2000s. Highly recommends if you want the whole story of Goliath and his clan.
