Poor performances
I love these books and I thought they would be brought life by some great readings. Sadly this is far from the case. Poor voice artists and poor recordings.

Well built, good sound and great value for money..packed with features.
I bought a DMX 60 a year ago to use in my kitchen/diner where I spend a lot of time. I was very impressed by the unit and love the record to SD facility. So, when a DMX 50 came up I got it to keep in our bedroom and I can interchange recordings between the two.
Two words of warning...the cd decks seem to be a problem sometimes...people complain of discs skipping or not loading...both mine are fine.
My DMX 50 had V1.1 software so I downloaded the latest V2.3 and installed it, result...the SD card would'nt play back properly. It then took two weeks of daily correspondence with the very helpful Pure Support Centre before they found a copy of the old V1 software I could use. The unit works fine again.
