One of all-time best TV shows.
James Garner brings this nuanced character to life. He makes you wish Rockford was a real person, and that he is your best friend. Also, has the most sightings, in my personal experience, of original Volkswagen "Bug" cars. James Garner was qualified to be a stunt car driver, and insisted on doing all his own driving for the many, many car chases. Classic, and Classy, TV.

Best Sitcom Ever!
1 of 1 found this helpful The most hilarious 15 minutes of TV ever is the 2nd half of the episode entitled "sports and leisure". Except for the clothes and hairstyles, still feels very current.

Terrific fun!
One of my favorite movies! I was afraid all the stupidity going on in our national politics would tarnish my enjoyment of this film. Happily, No!! Full of hilarious, snarky one-liners, Garner & Lemmon play off each other perfectly. A real joy. And you can never go wrong with James Garner!
