May work better for others.

Everyone's hearing is different. It may help a little but not enough for my deficiency. The cup needs to funnel into the ear instead of around it!

They work great when it is cold!

I have students with braces and we tried these as an experiment. They work better with Baritones than Trombones, however, that may have been the two particular students and not the equipment. There is no replacing the brass mouthpiece for great tone color. The plastic ones don't help a bad sound. OK for cold weather though.
