I've tried much more expesive apple peelers but this one really works. My grand daughter and I make a lot of Apple pies and it has saved us a lot.

We finally gave in and bought a new out door fireplace. We wanted something like our old one and this is the closet to our old fireplace. Except this takes a bigger stack of wood and for some reason feels hotter when we use. I like the length and width for 18" pieces of wood. Very easy to assemble, except if you drop the bolts and nuts and loose them, but went together fast and was using it that night..... Hope this helps...

They sometimes work and sometimes not at least compaired to originals.
