Does what it says on the tin.
I wired the cap and the resistor in parallel and soldered it into a Fender Stratocaster. It works. Treble is maintained when the volume is turned down on the guitar but you may feel/hear that the low end has diminished a tad.
This could be just the way your hearing perceives the sound.
It's probably worth experimenting with different values and parallel versus series but overall this a great upgrade for £1.50!!

Does what it says.
Well,I'm not amazed because it does what it's supposed to do.
Turn down the volume on your guitar and it doesn't loose any treble while still retaining the tone. Works superbly on my 60's Strat. You may not need a boost pedal in most situations using this cheap and simple to fit device.

Superb sound and great value.
Iv'e been playing (trying) guitar for over 50 years and have tried all the strings out there but always come back to Rotosound. To me they sound and play superb on my Stratocaster. The tone is not too bright or not too mellow just perfect to my ears. They last for ages and are excellent value.
