Wish I had done this sooner
Quality parts and a relatively straight forward change for most DIY’ers. Combined this with an O2 sensor removal kit at the same time. Bike is transformed, throttle response low rpm / speed with Air Injection was snatchy and horrible. Throttle is now smooth, progressive and how it should be!

Plug and Play ... nearly
2 of 2 found this helpful Triumph Speedmaster - 7” unit fitted a treat into the standard lamp rim with a small tweak to small bracket. Direct plug in for dip and main - easy.
DLR ring connection does need a bit of skill / know how. Two wires come from the lamp harness, one for orange or one for white light. Your choice of wire / colour needs to be connected to the side light connector on the bike. The bike has two wires, yellow for power and black for earth, only the yellow wire is needed. I opted to reuse the exiting connector by removing the terminal from the side lamp harness and refitting it to red lamp wire for white DLR. If you are not confident to do this you need to buy and fit a new female spade to the yellow wire bike side. This can then be easily connected to the DLR wire you chose. Lamp works a treat, looks good and super bright. Fingers crossed that it is also reliable!! Time will tell.

1 of 1 found this helpful Works very well. I wasn’t sure because the full metal sleeve looks different to the original part. However, it fitted well and moves freely on the adjuster. If anything the sleeve makes it a more substantial part to handle, fit and operate. Unfortunately it does nothing to help the stinky paraffin smell when I’ve used it in my shed!
