Unleashed bass tone and sustain
1 of 1 found this helpful My newly acquired bass didn't have the clarity of tone and sustain I thought it should have. I replaced the strings, which provided no discernible improvememt. I then thought that, perhaps, I needed a bridge with more mass, so I did some homework on various replacement bridges and chose this Hipshot one. It took about 3 minutes to install and - WOW! - what a difference. The term 'SuperTone' in the name is definitely not just marketing hype; my bass turned into a super-tone instrument with plenty of sustain. Also, and this is probably just coincidence, the intonation and string height were perfect right out of the box - no saddle adjustments needed. However if, in the future, adjustment is necessary, the screws are easily accessed from the rear of the bridge, instead fumbling under the strings at the front of the bridge, as with the original equipment one. Kudos to Hipshot for a truly fine and fantastic product.

Good value and well-packed
I need a replacement driver's inside inside door panel, so I looked for used panels and found just what I needed from this vendor on eBay.
I was impressed with how well the shipper packed packed and protected the panel from potential damage. Also an unexpected surprise: a baggy with panel attaching clips. I'll probably break a couple of those taking the old panel off, so having replacements is nice.
I'm very happy with this eBay vendor and recommend them highly. I have 2 more door panels starting to have the same problem, and will purchase replacements, when they appear on eBay for my specific model.

Great tone in a smaller package
1 of 1 found this helpful Having played a standard size electric bass for many years, I was concerned about sacrificing tone by switching to a short scale bass, as a result of recently developed fretting hand and finger issues. My concern was needless. The EB-0 sounds every bit as good as the standard bass I own. I chose to try this lower cost Epiphone version of the Gibson original, as a way to determine if it would be easier for me to play a short scale bass, before making a larger investment in a Gibson-branded short scale. However, the playability and tone of this Epiphone EB-0 is so good that I decided forgo the Gibson purchase.
