A bit of a laugh.
A light-hearted take on "Mob" violence?
Told in flashback, as a group of Mobsters sit around a dinner table. Features a rather cringe-worthy lounge singer whose failing career is rescued by a Mobster, but as always, there`s a price to pay. The language is strong, as would be expected. The song`s lyrics turn out to be stronger. There are several back references to "The Sopranos" series, for fans, but this is not an extension of it.
This film is a bit of fun, rather than a full belly laugh, but a good evenings view, after a plate of pasta, and glass of red wine.

Good "film noir" paperback.
Set in 1950s Watts, Los Angeles, this is an atmospheric novel featuring Easy Rawlins, Mosley`s strong, but flawed, hero. It shows the other side of the city that Sam Spade`s clientele inhabit. A fast moving plot with believable motivation for the characters & gritty (non-p.c.) dialogue. It will probably appeal to fans of Raymond Chandler & James Ellroy. I intend reading more from this author.

Good Value
Been using this for a couple of months now. No problems so far, but then there certainly shouldn`t be yet. This is not a lightweight machine for a small garden, and does require a bit of physical effort. That`s not a complaint, just a warning. It copes well with fairly thick brambles etc. The construction seems fairly robust, giving optimism for a long life, but only time tell. The "tap n` go" head may not be the best, but if it gives up they are readily available. For size and quality I reckon this is very good value, and a safer bet than a second hand "quality" brand that may have had a hard life with a professional gardener.
