I cannot rate Peter Connolly's work and books highly enough. Fantastic and informative illustrations based on hard evidence from archaeology and research. Well researched and correct, easy to read and understand text for ages 7 upwards yet brilliant for adults too; don't let the look of it make you think it is only a children's history book. A book that should be the 'go-to' for anything to do with the Ancient Greek Soldier, her allies and enemies as well as ancient warfare. Fabulous tool for school, knowledge and reenactment research. You cannot go wrong with Mr Connolly.
