Best, most helpful edition of this book

I love this book. I had the first edition & this is the second, which includes chapter nine (not in previous edition) which covers the latest changes by the Real Academia de Español (the bible of authority on Spanish grammar & orthography. Excellent new chapter, by the way. This is a great resource if you are taking any kind of Spanish class, especially intermediate to advanced. Love the exercise section. Only complaint is that Cengage decided to no longer include the answer key, so one cannot auto-correct. Still a great book though.

Excellent resource for Spanish grammar

I have taken two different classes in two different universities using, first the 6th edition of this book, which has more English, then the "versión en español" 2nd edition. Both are excellent, though I prefer the versión en español, so it depends on your level of Spanish, but both are excellent resources for all aspects of Spanish Grammar. This is actually the first edition of the "versión en español", which I am ordering for a friend, just to use for a reference, since there are not that many changes except the page numbers! So this is a great value, unless you need the latest versión for a class. Highly recommended.
