Great way to refurbish old units
Since this model is no longer made by Broan, finding a comparable replacement was difficult. Replacing the old rusty motors with a new one was an easy & effective way to upgrade. Only took about 10 minutes to swap out.

PN-60 GPS Receiver Review
1 of 1 found this helpful I upgraded to the PN-60 from the PN-20 (the older model is no longer supported by TOPO 9 software). I use this for hiking, cross country skiing, canoing & biking. Most of the time I just take this along, turn it on & put in a coat pocket. You can also download satellite images & view your location from a different prospective. After the trip, I download the track via USB cable into TOPO 9 program & view the route taken. You then see your route on a very detailed TOPO map where all sorts of profile data is then available such as moving averages, distance traveled, time moving/stopped etc. You can also pre-plan your trip by making a route on the map, setting way points & sync to the PN-60 so you can follow this route for hiking or back country skiing. Some people want to use Google maps on their cell phone if they are on an expensive 3G data plan instead, but most of the places I go have no cell coverage & you don't get much useful info anyway. I use rechargeable batteries, so there is minimal cost after your initial purchase. Great gadget for out door people!
