Good product so far, reasonable price.
3 of 3 found this helpful Used these shifters to replace twist grips on my mountain bike. The twist grips were almost impossible to twist, these make shifting a lot easier. I had forgotten about these, I had a mountain bike with this type of shifters 20 years ago, and never had any problem with them, so it should have been a no brainer. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it comes with no instructions, and you don't really need them, but one cable is longer than the other, and I had them installed before I realised the cable would not reach the back shifter, so I had to take them back off. Only other minor issue is there is no tension adjustment, and the spring on my front deraileur will sometimes make it move just a little, not enough to pop out of gear, but every-now-and-then I have to nudge it back over so the chain doesn't make noise rubbing on it, but very minor issues...Over-all they've made my bike much more enjoyable.
