A nifty little bargain.
2 of 2 found this helpful This little camera has about a dozen scene modes (landscape, portrait etc) and each of these has it's own menu (eg nightime, profile and many more) so there's no excuse for a bad pic now. The only thing it lacks is anti-shake but that's too expensive for this model. The 2" screen is great and only the brightest sunshine can overwhelm it while the 3x optical zoom Nikkor lens and 6mp sensor combine to give excellent detail and contrast levels. It also shoots Youtube-sized movies with sound.
I bought this because it was so cheap (£35 refurbished) but I would recommend it at it's full price now I have tried it. Very nice piece of kit.

No Nonsense Phone.
If you want a phone that just does what it was invented for and if you're wise enough to get by without proving your gadget-cred at every opportunity then you won't go far wrong with this. I live in the Welsh mountains and this is the only phone I have owned that I can use inside the house; my nephew who has everything on his phone had to drive half a mile just to pick up his texts! It also has great battery-life. I wanted a phone and I certainly got one. The only drawback I can see is that some might find it a little bulky... This one was a refurb but I believe they are still available new. Get one.

Works like an SLR; feels like a compact.
1 of 1 found this helpful 10x optical zoom, image stabiliser, very intuitive operation and great price; what more could one ask? This is my first Fuji and I'm kicking myself for messing with those other makes. I've got a new screen-saver - a shot of leaf-litter on the ground in my local woodland that I took by accident while checking out the camera on a dog-walk - came out sharp and clear with great colour saturation despite the miserable November afternoon light. I'm a fan!
Unless you're the fussiest pro on the planet this camera will meet your needs - even the movie mode is great!
