Blu-Ray at a bargain price.
I bought this player as an introduction into the world of Blu-Ray. It seemed to have a bewildering array of files it was capable of playing including Xvid, Dvix, Dvd, dvd-r etc; etc; But most of all a USB 2 input allowing the use of an external hard drive. This feature opens-up a world of possibilites i.e. file sharing. The only downside is that this particular model is disscontinued, but however, has been replaced by three new models two of which are internet capable.
Of course I sourced my player from a large national retailer 'clearance bargains' store via eBay making it a first class bargain.
